This beautiful palazzo was restored lovingly by master craftsman from Todi, seeking out and restoring its original beautiful architectural features, the portals, doors, corniche, and elegant 17 th century stenciled walls and ceilings.   No expense has been spared in every room, from the large entrance hall, lo the exquisite bathrooms with equally fine furnishings and fittings throughout. Entrance hall

A beautiful and welcoming square entrance hall is a treat and an idea of what is in store.  To the left are double doors that lead to a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.  Located in the reception hall is a further guest bathroom.


Lounge

From the hallway an open square arch leads to the stunning living/lounge with fine fabric sofas, lamps and elegant tables with stenciled beams.   There are 4 splendid original antique doors that lead to an exquisite diining room, spacious study,balconhy/ terrace, kitchen and up a few steps through an archway that leads to a striking  stained glass door to the bedrooms and bathrooms.


Study

The fabulous study is perfect for quiet time to perhaps catch up on business matters with a beautiful desk and display cabinet close to a large shuttered window that overlooks the courtyard below, full of peace and tranquility.


Dining Room

A truly magnificent dining room awaits with its stenciled beamed ceiling, original and restored stenciled walls, feature stone fireplace and elegant and fine dining table to seat 8 with bookcase and side cabinet, all carved wood by craftsman.  The wonderful window looks out onto the main street of Todi with all its wonderful palazzi, shops, restaurants and the beat of the town

 

Terrace / Balcony

A wonderful long stone terrace/balcony overlooks the courtyard below and fabulous pine takes pride of place in the centre, giving that sense of calm with nature.

 

Kitchen

A very large square kitchen with fireplace and 2 large arch picturesque windows that overlook the courtyard below and full of light.  A wonderful well appointed kitchen, fully fitted and which contains 6 burner gas hob unit and electric fan oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine.  A large wood table and chairs to seat 8 and wood dresser cabinet



Master Bedroom

Wonderful master bedroom with carved French/Italian double bed with large wardrobes, side unit and bedside units.  Exquisitely furnished  with stenciled walls and oak panels.  The shuttered window looks out onto the amazing countryside of Todi in the distance and noble palazzo's closeby.

Luxuriousl large bathroom with large feature wash basin and mirror, toilet, bidet and unique shower with separate bath tub.  Exquisite finishes.

Todi Noble Palazzo provides a fantastic base from which to discover world famous towns such as Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, Orvieto and Perugia – all within 40 mins. drive away and the wonderful wine areas surrounding Montefalco. Lake Trasimeno and Cortona,Tuscany within 1 hour. Todi is located 5 minutes to E-45 Superstrada close to all Umbrian destinations, and the A-1 Autostrada del Sole to Rome (1.5 hours) and Florence (2 hours), making it that perfect location to explore central Italy and all its rich cultural heritage.  Trains to Florence and Rome is a 5 minute drive away.

Todi

The Etruscan town of Todi is placed on top of a hill dominating the Tiber River and its valley and is a flourishing Umbrian centre where quality of life is considered as the best in the world and was given this prestigious title some years ago. Many classic Hollywood films have been rolled out in this famous Piazza. Todi is the home town of medieval Italian poet Jacopone. Todi boasts three beautiful churches, its Duomo in the piazza, Jacopone's church of San Fortunato the beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria della Consolazzione. Todi's piazza is classed as one of the finest in Italy and boasts two palaces, one a museum exhibiting fine art and antiques. There are many fine bars and restaurants to choose from and the many craft shops will be a delight.
