IL MELOGRANO AGRITURISMO

The beautiful Italian farmhouse of Il Melograno is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of Le Marche, close to the Adriatic coast and the historic town of Fermo .The Agriturismo is nestled in the center of a peaceful oasis, offering top quality holiday accommodation with refined rooms and the invaluable silence that surrounds it.

 

The 18th century farmhouse and surrounding buildings have all been fully restored to a high standard, maintaining the original features and charm, yet offering all modern comforts. The family run Agriturismo offers a welcoming atmosphere with a variety of accommodation solutions to suit both couples, families or large groups wishing to rent the entire property for special occasions. It runs both as a B&B and as a self-catering holiday accomodation.

 

The magnificent hilltop location also offers a panoramic swimming pool and sunbathing area, overlooking rolling patchwork landscapes and enchanting countryside which fades toward the imposing Sibillini mountain range.

 

Il Melograno is idilically located midway between the Sibillini mountains and the Adriatic coast, just a 15 minute drive from stunning sandy beaches, yet only a mile from wide choice of local shops, restaurants and pizzerias.

The Farm

 Il Melograno has two local varieties of olives and the olive harvest is hand picked with traditional cold milling within 48 hours of harvesting.

There are many fruit trees, such as  elder,  mulberry tree,  quince and strawberry , from which jams are prepared and served at breakfast 

 

All around the agriturismo has been created a green area of 31000 square metres , with the planting of over 3000 trees that reduce carbon emission, help protect against land erosion, improve drainage thus consolidating slopes and rolling landscapes and, producing berries, to attract native fauna.
